Passive Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) technology provides the highest tailpipe PM reduction available today (>90%), making them a popular choice for retrofit programs. However, DPF are sensitive to exhaust temperature and can plug unless they are exposed to minimum exhaust temperatures that will burn the soot they capture.
Compact, direct machine-mountable mist collectors designed to collect, filter, and reclaim mist generated from machines using oil-based, synthetic, semi-synthetic, or water-soluble coolants.
The HPK05 high pressure filter series is made of ductile iron for strength and durability. Machined bypass valves are case-hardened at critical points to provide maximum strength and reliability.
The ultrex filter consists of a regenerable weldless filter pipe made from sintered stainless steel. The retention rate extends from 1 to 25 micron meter.
In the processing of perishable or sensitive products the demands for hygiene are usually very high. The ambient air is polluted and can ruin even the cleanest production process if it comes in contact with the end product without being purified. Bacteria, viruses, phages, oil mist, water and dust in the ambient air are the main reasons for the microbiological spoilage of the products. Sterile air creates aseptic conditions in pressurized and in open storage or mixing tanks and in filling machines. A continuous exchange of the air cushion and a slight overpressure in this critical area reduces the risk of a secondary contamination with ambient air. Specially for these production processes where bacteria and phage free air is required ultrafilter developed the autarkic sterile air box P-SLF. With eight different sizes from 30 m3/h (18 cfm) to 910 m3/h (537 cfm) it is possible to produce sterile air in the most cost efficient way. The P-SLF box is used in applications within the food and beverage, the chemical, the pharmaceutical and the cosmetic industry.
Up to now the Ultracool range was available in eighteen different sizes ranging from a nominal cooling capacity of 1 to just under 200kW. The program is now supplemented by the "Maxi" range, which is suitable for a cooling capacity of 300 to 500kW.
The housing for the Donaldson Ultrafilter PF-EG models are manufactured from a stainless steel (1.4404), which is low in carbon. As a standard, the sealing material EPD conforms to the FDA-directive (177.2600) for being equitable to foodstuffs. All parts, which come into contact with the product, are electro-polished and have a surface finish of under 0,8 (Ra). This ensures that not even the smallest particles are able to cling to the inside of the housing. Housings in the quality Ra<0,5 (with certificate) are available for pharmaceutical applications. As a standard the new model range comprises of seven different sizes for volume flows of 30 to 600 l/min. For larger volume flows housings can be manufactured according to the requirements of the customer. The housings are designed for a pressure of 10 bar (at 20 celcius degree) respectively 3,7 bar at 149 celcius degree. The filter element can be exchanged without large time effort: a tri-clamp connection with a massive clamp, or for larger housings with screws, anbles a secure connection and a swift disconnection of the bottom and the upper part of the filter housing.
Exhaust
Through a controlled chemical release process, the Donaldson Endurance Plus Coolant filter replenishes the additives in standard diesel engine coolant. It allows you to extend your coolant maintenance interval up to once a year or 150,000 miles.
